If it were not for Elsa, there would be no Historic Gooding Hotel. This room is named in her honor, for she saved this local icon from destruction in the 1980's and began an extensive restoration. We picked up where she left off and have continued to lovingly repair and maintain this wonderful piece of history. The decor is Victoriana featuring pictures of hatted ladies, hat stands with vintage hats, and a hat-themed throw on one of the two chairs–from an actual bordello here in Gooding in the 1900's. Once again, a handmade quilt covers the queen-sized bed with its reproduction brass headboard. The focal point of the room might just be the unique serpentine dresser with wing mirror, which features inlaid mother-of-pearl.
